Continued House Improvements (2024)

Updated: Oct 11, 2024

We’re thrilled to announce the installation of brand-new, high-efficiency washers and dryers at the fraternity house! Gone are the days of trekking to laundromats or hunting for machines elsewhere—brothers can now conveniently handle their laundry at any time that fits their schedules. These energy-efficient machines not only save time but also provide much-needed convenience for everyone in the house. This fantastic upgrade was made possible thanks to the generous work and contributions of our dedicated alumni, including notable support from Mike Virkus.

In addition to this exciting upgrade, we’d also like to highlight some of the hard work and dedication from this past summer. Below are some of the dates when brothers, dads, and moms came together for large group work efforts to improve the house:

  • May 11: 3 dads and 10 brothers tackled exterior maintenance, painting, and countless trips to clear out trash, while organizing the house.

  • May 18: 4 dads and 9 brothers painted the interior stairways in preparation for the new tread installation.

  • June 28: A father/son duo hauled out two fridges and a deep freezer for recycling and rebate.

  • July 14: 3 dads and 10 brothers painted the main floor ceiling and walls.

  • July 21: 2 dads and 8 brothers continued painting all common areas on the first floor.

  • July 28: 3 dads, 6 brothers, and a girlfriend worked on second-floor painting, additional stairway painting, and the removal of old third-floor bathroom flooring and five toilets.

  • July 29: 2 dads, 3 brothers, and a mom added another coat of paint in the main stairwell and installed vinyl plank flooring in the third-floor bathroom.

We couldn’t have accomplished these projects without the hands-on help and support from our amazing community. Your contributions continue to make a significant impact.

Thank you for your support! If you're interested in participating in future house improvements or other initiatives, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
