Hey All,
Just a few things I wanted to share with everyone.
Golf Outing
I wanted to send out another reminder regarding the golf outing.
Date: April 21st, 2012
Location: Timber Ridge Country Club Link
Time: Golf (Check in: 8:30, Tee Off: 10:00) Banquet (Check In: 2:00 pm, Start: 3:00pm)
Cost: Golf- $60 Banquet-$40 Both-$90 (Payments can be made by check or cash at registration)
Please RSVP by March 31st by emailing pika.corresponding@gmail.com with the events you will be attending. If you will be attending the golf outing please include your desired foursome. During the banquet we will be having an auction to help fund a few projects at the house. The projects that we will be looking to fund are the 2 bathroom remodels as well as a new roof. These are 3 things the house really needs and are well over due. If you have anything you are willing to donate to the auction please email me at the email above. Last year the auction played a big part in allowing us to get the kitchen up and running which we are greatly thankful for. We are also looking for hole sponsorships. If you would like to sponsor a hole please fill out and email me back the attached form. Last years Golf Outing was an absolute blast and we hope you can join us for this years.
Alumni Advisory Board
This past weekend we made a big step in advancing our chapter and bringing Iota Iota to the next level. We had two people from nationals come in and help us start up an alumni advisory board. We currently have the positions of Financial Adviser (Brandon Mason), Operations Adviser (Greg Baker) , Risk Awareness Adviser (Steve Whalen) and Continuing Education Adviser (Matt Burns) filed and are currently looking for people to take the remaining positions. We are currently in need of someone to head up the advisory board as Chapter Adviser and for two-three recent alumni to take over the Alumni Association. If you would be interested in taking a position or would like more information regarding the positions please email me or Mike Barber at REDACTED.
My Pike Sign Up
We would really like to be able to keep in touch with our alumni better and to allow you all to keep in touch better as well. One way to do this is by having you sign up on My Pike which is done through nationals. If you could please register on pikes.org it would be greatly appreciated and should not take more than 5 min to do so. The My Pike login is located on the top bar of the websites homepage.
Newsletter
I received some messages regarding an issue with the newsletter PDF document. I have attached a fixed copy to this message.
Best Regards,
John LaRose
