MSU Pikes Homecoming Tailgate info (2017)

MSU Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni,

Given some city restrictions this year, we are hosting the Pike Homecoming tailgate at an on-campus location, behind parking ramp #6, a more detailed picture and explanation can be found below. There will be food and top shelf drinks provided as well as games for children and TV’s for the game. Please RSVP for this event by signing into the google sheets document, which can be reach at this LINK.

Since the time of the game is still TBD the start time if it is a Noon game will be 9:00 am and if it is a 3:30 game the start time will be 12:30 pm. As always the alumni tailgate is the week of MSU football’s Homecoming which is October 21st.

We are thankful our Alumni Advisory Board has been re-established providing us more guidance and support. They've encouraged us to promote an alumni fundraising challenge to generate $5,000 for installation of an aluminum fence surrounding the Pike house, which will help show the city we are making improvements. The funds will also be used toward renovations of our iconic firetruck. We will have a board at the tailgate showcasing your generous donations and our progress to hit our goal.

We also wanted to share that we won the scholastic award from IFC having the highest GPA on campus, IFC championships in football, hockey and soccer and raised over $5,000 for charities last year. Your generosity of money and time will help us reach our fund-raising goals, improve chapter guidance and expand our job opportunities. We as active members look forward to building a strong relationship with our expanding alumni supporters and are excited to see you at the tailgate. As always Go Green and Go Pike!
